My name is Leina Broughton and I'm a Creative Entrepreneur with a passion for activating Business Alchemy, which is the art of balancing mechanics and energetics to build businesses that are filled with passion and profit. My journey started in the world of fashion and has evolved further into the creative world with now owning and running the largest online marketplace in Australia for Artists and Crafters, Madeit.
I have a creative mind that sees everything in colour and possibility.
Over the years of building businesses firsthand it has given me the ability to play with finding solutions for growth and scale. There is no one-size fits all when it comes to business. It's a journey of discovery to find what plays to your own strengths.Â

Networking Events
On the 3rd Thursday of each month I host a Northern Rivers Business Networking Event at Husk Distillery in North Tumbulgum.
These events move beyond the traditional swapping of business cards, it’s about forming genuine connections and growing your business expertise. The aim is to foster a vibrant community where attendees can exchange insights, collaborate on projects, and support one another's growth.

PERSONAL
My world.
Outside of business, my home is my sanctuary. We live right on Tweed River and our world revolves around water. I love being out on the boat or jetski, swimming and camping. Most days you'll find me at hot yoga & pilates, reading and writing. My son, Ari, my partner, Jeff and our cat Bruce (our darling Scratch passed last year 🥺) are my world.

Since launching my first venture in 2001, I've navigated the ever-evolving path of entrepreneurship. From building and selling my own fashion brand (Leina Broughton, which became Leina & Fleur) to today, the proud owner of madeit.com.au, supporting approximately 600 artists in growing their businesses through our marketplace.
My passion for business springs from an expansive imagination, allowing me to dream and then create. For me, business is a vast creative playground, from devising strategies to executing marketing plans and creative paths.
